Our Team
Pastor Mark, a Trinity Evangelical Divinity School grad, has been in Christian ministry for more than 30 years. Prior to ASBC, he served two churches in New York City for 24 years, including seven years as the Principal of a Christian elementary and middle school. He and his wife, Kate, are Massachusetts natives. They have one daughter, who is a mental health counselor. PM loves to serve the saints for their joy and progress in the faith!
Pao is a graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He is originally from Myanmar (Burma) and has a deep passion for reaching the Burmese immigrant community in Massachusetts with the good news of Jesus Christ. His vision is to plant a gospel-centered church that serves and disciples this growing population. Pao enjoys watching the Premier League soccer, especially cheering on his favorite team, Manchester United. He also loves coffee, spending time with people, building meaningful relationships, and finding ways to encourage and serve others in everyday life.
Danielle joined the staff of ASBC in 2022 and serves as our dedicated Office Administrator. She also leads ASBC’s Sisters in Service. Danielle brings a strong sense of devotion to her work and is passionate about supporting the church’s mission and serving its community. She is mother to Jessica and enjoys all things “beach”.
Dick was saved at the age of 21. He is a graduate of Tyndale University in Canada and has ministered at ASBC in numerous capacities, including Bible teacher and youth leader. He currently serves as an elder. Dick and Del, his wife of more than 30 years, love the church of Jesus Christ and together have faithfully served ASBC for decades.
Michael began serving as an Elder in 2009. He uses his God-given gifts of administration, music, and teaching/preaching to serve the people at ASBC and glorify the Almighty. Michael and his wife, Susan, have adult twins, Samantha and Zachary. Michael enjoys cooking and eating together with friends and family.
Ken joined ASBC in 2012 and currently serves as Deacon and Moderator. He strives to serve church members and to support Gospel outreach. Ken is father to four children and enjoys reading and scouting car shows.
Brian currently serves as Deacon and Treasurer of ASBC. Brian and his wife, Jean, are both retired and enjoy serving the Lord in various other informal roles at ASBC, as well as other ministries and organizations in the local area. They have two children (Leigh and Philip) and recently welcomed their first grandchild. Brian and Jean have worshiped at ASBC since 2000.
Gerry began attending ASBC with his wife Elizabeth in January 2023. Gerry currently serves as a Deacon. He is also a gifted Bible teacher and preacher. Gerry enjoys family, fellowship, relaxing, and studying the word of God. He and Elizabeth have two sons: Alex and Austin.
